Automotive Engines
Doosan independently developed low-emission diesel engines for heavy and medium duty vehicles in compliance with EURO 1 in 1995, EURO 2 in 1998, EURO 3 in 2004, and EURO 4 in 2007. We have also been developing diesel engines responding to EURO 5, aiming at mass production in late 2010.
Doosan’s research and development program has led to introducing three new diesel models in compliance with EURO 4. Those are DL06 S, 5.9 liter In-line 6 cylinder rated 202 kW at 2500 rpm, DL08 S, 7.6 liter In-line 6 cylinder rated 254 kW at 2200 rpm, and DV11 S, 11.0 liter 6 V cylinder rated 328 kW at 1900 rpm.
Doosan now offers various kinds of engines from 134 kW through 328 kW with 17 models.
